Second run this week. After Tuesday’s run, I learned to listen to myself and not push myself too hard. While it’s all well and good that there is such thing as pushing your mind to go past boundaries, your body has to be the one to execute it. So listen to your body.It was good. The sunset was blood red tonight, so it was nice to just stand on top of the foot bridge and look at it for a few.

First proper run in about a week. Aunt Flo visited last week so I was pretty much out of commission. Was such a naughty girl then; ate way too much junk food and not nearly enough healthy stuff.
Need new snack ideas. Rice crackers is a once in a while treat because it can get expensive after a while, and too much hummus is bad for you.
I’m starting to get sick of celery batons as well. The taste is a little too strong, but they keep well and are relatively cheaper than most snackable veg. Any suggestions?

Running time: 25 minutes today because Jen is picking me up for a fund raiser thing and I needed to squeeze in a quick run.
DIstance: about 1.5km
Quick quick quick run here. Warmed up and then set a fast running pace to complete the circuit home.
Temperature: A balmy eight degrees.
Running time: Should start wearing a watch.
Got tired when I hit the waterfront. Walked the second half back. Should probably have eaten a banana or something, was super low on energy. Have eaten a mandarin and a bowl of miso soup. Now having some roast veggies.
